St. Eustatius - Arrest - In the evening hours on Tuesday, the 21st of June, during the search of a house on St. Eustatius, a number of marijuana plants were seized. A 27-year-old man with initials G.G.O.L. was arrested for violating the Opium Act BES.
Traffic control
On Monday the 20th of June, a planned traffic control was held on the JZ Ridge Road on St. Eustatius. During the traffic control, a valid driver's license, valid insurance papers and road tax were checked. A total of 40 vehicles were stopped and checked. Three people received a warning and had to go to the police station with their valid driver's license and/or road tax papers.
