About the control room

The control room is responsible for answering emergency calls, prioritizing them and translating them into dispatching the appropriate level of police resources on all three islands. Furthermore, the control room is responsible for issuing call logs and controlling the response of the dispatched units. The Intake Department deals with the initial registration of citizen reports (service desk function), dispatch requests from colleagues and provides administrative support (taking statements).
