Police report of Wednesday, July 12th until Monday, July 17th 2023
Sint Eustatius - Scooter collision - On Saturday, July 15th , an accident involving a scooter occurred on the H.M. Beatrix Road on St. Eustatius. For unknown cause, the driver fell off the scooter. Upon arrival of the patrol, they checked for valid documents. The driver of the scooter was found to have no driver's license. He also did not have the insurance documents with him. For this he was issued an official report. The driver was also found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested on the spot for driving under the influence. the scooter was impounded.
Traffic Check
On Saturday, July 15th , in the late afternoon hours, a traffic check was conducted on the Cornelis van Zanten Road on St. Eustatius. During the check a number of vehicles were stopped and checked. Three official reports were issued; two for driving without a license and two for parking without a license.
