Police report from Friday, June 2nd until Monday, June 5th 2023 St. Eustatius/Saba
St. Eustatius / Saba - Armed robbery On Sunday, June 4th , a report of an armed robbery on the Heyligerweg on St. Eustatius was made. Two men were sitting in front of a barbershop around 10:55 PM when they were approached by two men. The two men were both armed with a gun.

They assaulted the victims with the weapons and demanded money. After this, they left the location by scooter. One of the victims suffered injuries to his head and mouth as a result of the assault. The case is under investigation.
Traffic control
In the morning hours on Sunday, June 4th , a scheduled traffic control was held in several neighborhoods on Saba. This involved checking cars for the required percentage light transmission of tinted car windows. A total of 5 cars were stopped and checked. The drivers were ordered to remove the tint. One of the drivers also received a warning for driving without having paid the road tax.
Collision between car and scooter
On Saturday, June 3rd at about 7 PM, a collision between a car and a scooter occurred on the Paramira Road on St. Eustatius. The car was turning left when suddenly a scooter drove up at high speed and collided with the car. The driver of the scooter was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. When the patrol arrived, the scooter involved in the collision was nowhere to be found. The case is under investigation.
Arrest
On Saturday, June 3rd , a 49-year-old man with initials S.G.P. was arrested on St. Eustatius for violation of the BES Weapons Act. The suspect was shooting pets with a weapon. The weapon was seized for further investigation.
