St. Eustatius - Traffic check - A traffic check was held on Tuesday, May 30th , at the Dr. H.A. Korthalsweg on St. Eustatius. The check focused on checking valid driver's licenses, insurance documents and motor vehicle taxes.
During the check, several motor vehicles were stopped and checked. Of these, one driver received a warning to attach a new license plate, a driver of a scooter was issued a ticket for driving without a valid license and the scooter was taken to police office. A car driver was issued a ticket for failing to show a valid insurance certificate.
