Theft of scooters and motorcycles is increasing
Oranjestad - Thefts of scooters and motorcycles on St. Eustatius have increased significantly in recent times.
On the 16th of the November, the theft of a blue Yamaha scooter, model Mio, was reported. The scooter was parked on Kerkweg and had no license plate.
In the morning hours of Saturday, the 25th of November, the theft of a blue Yamaha motorcycle, model DM01, was reported. The motorcycle was parked on Pommeserrat Road.
A little later on the same day, Saturday the 25th of November, the theft of a white, blue and red painted BMW motorcycle, model G310R, was reported. The motorcycle was parked in the yard of a house on Sugar Apple Road on Sint Eustatius. The motorcycle was taken by unknown persons between Friday, the 24th of November and Saturday, the 25th of November.
