Police report of Friday, March 8th until Monday, March 11th 2024

Oranjestad - Planned traffic control - On Friday, March 8th , between 8:30 PM and 10:00 PM, several vehicles were stopped for a traffic control on St. Eustatius, including in Oranje Bay. During the inspection, 13 cars were checked and 4 fines were issued.
These were as follows:
3x for driving without a valid driver's license;
1x for driving without valid insurance.
KPCN would like to remind everyone to have the necessary documents in order. Adhering to the rules of the traffic ordinance is also strongly advised. This also contributes to safe traffic on the island.
