Oranjestad - Collision - On Thursday, March 7th , around 12:20 AM, the central control room received a report of a one-sided collision at the DR H.A. Korthalsweg on St. Eustatius. A car crashed into a wall and then ended up in a garden. Here he broke a tree in two and also hit some cables. The vehicle came to a stop on its left side against a building.
The driver stated that he tried to avoid a dog, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for medical treatment. Fire brigade personnel also arrived on the scene to switch off the vehicle's battery.
