Oranjestad - Hit And Run - On Thursday, the 11th of January, at around 11 AM, a Hit and Run took place near a supermarket on Fort Street on St. Eustatius. A car hit the left arm of a pedestrian standing next to the road, with its right mirror and then drove on.
As a result, the victim suffered pain in her arm. A little later, around 11:35 AM, the driver of the car was found and charged as a suspect for leaving the scene of the accident. The suspect was taken to the police station for further investigation. Investigation in this case is ongoing.
